Our Story
Palm Beach Currumbin Cricket Club has been a cornerstone of Gold Coast cricket since 1928. Playing our home games at Salk Oval, Les Ferguson Oval and Mallawa Sports Complex, we are proud to field competitive teams across all grades while fostering the next generation of cricketers in our junior programs.
From the beaches of Currumbin to the iconic Les Ferguson Oval, PBC has built a reputation for competitive cricket, passionate supporters, and a welcoming culture that makes every player feel at home — whether they're playing their first junior match or their hundredth senior game.

Our Grades
Whether you're picking up a bat for the first time or chasing a premiership, PBC has a team for you. We compete in the Gold Coast Cricket Association across all grades and age groups.
Saturday Afternoons
Competitive cricket across Premier Division (1st to 3rd grade) and Community Division (4th to 6th grade), played on Saturday afternoons.

Over 40's and 50's cricket played every second Sunday. Very friendly — a great way to stay active and enjoy the game with good company.

Our junior program caters for boys and girls from Under 11s through to Under 17s, with a focus on development, fun and teamwork.
U11 · U12 · U13 · OpensFriday Evenings
Junior Blasters (ages 5–7) — a fun introduction to cricket with game-based drills and basic skill development, held every Friday at Salk Oval.
Master Blasters (U10) — a structured game played under lights on Fridays at alternating clubs.

Our Purpose
The Palm Beach Currumbin Cricket Club members should aspire to be successful in all aspects of the game, whether it is on the field or not. This will enable them to succeed as a team player or an individual. Our club creed works to create and maintain a cricketing club environment marked by great spirit, positive intent and immense pride.
Players are inspired to give something to their teammates and their club by 'getting involved'. We embrace pressure by staying in the moment and resisting the urge to get distracted by things around us. We take responsibility for our own actions and as a result, players will produce their best and always play their part. We have moulded a club with high expectations . . . great expectations.
These expectations are clear so every player and member of our club knows what is required of them. There is no place for mediocre behaviour like selfishness, arrogance, negativity or disrespect to any other player, club official or umpire. We strive to play for our club, keenly, honourably, generously, and self-sacrificing, as these are moral lessons in themselves.
We as a club appreciate that talent can be found in not only physical attributes, but also in a player's determination, courage, discipline and temperament. These talents should always be encouraged from the juniors through the grade teams.
The strength of the team is each individual player and the strength of each individual player is the team.
We, the players and management of the Palm Beach Currumbin Cricket Club, accept the heritage which players and administrators have passed down to us. In doing so, we must not rest in idleness but shall strive with all our resolve to further our club's unexcelled achievements on and off the field.
